Sean Myring has spent 15 years in and around Australia’s trades industry. Before running Field Works Group, he spent years working with Australian trade businesses on the systems they run on — first at Simpro, the field service management platform used by trades companies across the country, and later at Semrush, one of the world’s largest digital marketing platforms. That combination, how trade businesses actually operate day to day and how customers actually find them, shapes how Field Works Group is built.
As General Manager, Sean leads FWG’s national operations: a network of licensed technicians spanning every state, insurance repair work for major Australian insurers, and the group’s consumer brands across air conditioning, electrical, plumbing and locksmith services. He’s responsible for the group’s fixed upfront pricing model and its 24/7 booking systems, both built on the same belief: customers are happy to pay for quality trade work, they just want to know upfront what they’re actually in for. Sean is based in Melbourne.
